BLYTHE THOMPSON
Blythe Thompson was born and raised in Colorado. She began her love for dance at the age of two at a ballet company and quickly thrived in the competition and convention world. Her passion only grew for the arts as she graduated from Denver School of the Arts as a dance major. She continued her dance education at Chapman University in California while also studying with BODYTRAFFIC, Momix, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Backhaus, Ido Tadmor, Sam Allen, Rex Kline, Misha Gabriel, Dexter Car, and many other working choreographers. Since then, she has never stopped dancing and creating and spent a year dancing professionally in LA. During her time in LA, she trained regularly at Tmilly, Playground, and Millennium Dance Complex where she completed the certificate program. Blythe is now continuing her journey under the mentorship of Stacey Tookey in New York exploring all aspects of art. She is honored to be a part of The Bridge Movement where she trains and creates daily alongside Stacey, Jason Parsons, Anthony Morigerato, Chelsea Thedinga, Al Blackstone, Peter Chu, Dana Foglia, Heather Lang, Corey John Snide and many others. Blythe is also a certified mat pilates instructor and has been teaching various styles for many years all over the country. Blythe can’t wait to be a part of your studio to share her passion for dance and artistry!
